Ministries
Community Gospel Chapel offers a variety of ministries for all ages, including children’s programs, youth groups, mothers groups and community outreach. Each ministry is designed to nurture spiritual growth, foster meaningful relationships, and serve the community with Christ’s love.

Soup In the Park
Jesus tells us in His word that He cares about how we treat the marginalized and disenfranchised in society. He tells us that when we minister to them, we actually minister to the very person and heart of Jesus.
Soup in the Park aims to do this by ministering to our community every Sunday at 12:30pm through the provision of food, drink, clothing, blankets, dignity and love to those that are in need.
There are many opportunities for you to serve and be involved in this ministry through making food, serving on a Sunday, praying, or donating finances or other resources such as clothes and blankets to be administered to those in need.
If you would like to know more, or be added to the soup making roster, please contact Gloria Hunter or Michele Severn.
Youth @ CGC
Youth at CGC runs on Thursday’s from 6:30PM to 8:00PM and is open for anyone who is in Grades 6-12.
On a normal youth night we have some games and a snack along with a short devotion followed by a Q & A time.
Our heart for youth is to provide a safe place where young people can ask questions, strengthen relationships with God and each other and encounter God’s love.
A $1 or $2 donation each Thursday is encouraged to help cover costs of snacks and trips but it is not necessary.
Throughout the year we will occasionally have special events and out trips as well. See our calendar for the most up to date information
Kids @ CGC
Our kids ministry runs on Sunday morning during our worship service.
Children are included in worship and prayer in the main sanctuary before going upstairs to their classes during the sermon.
We currently run two classes, one from 3 years old to Grade 4 and one from Grade 5 to Grade 8.
Youth from Grades 9-12 join the adults downstairs in the service and have a few thoughtful questions each week to help them process and think about the sermon.
